The Third International Symposium on Nanotechnology, Energy and Space (NES-2013)

The Third International Symposium on Nanotechnology, Energy and Space (NES-2013) continues to address research and development in the intersection of nanotechnology, energy and space with focus on the application of that research for technology development. Of specific interest will be the application of nanotechnology to the solution of materials challenges in the areas of energy harvesting, energy transmission and energy utilization, both in the terrestrial and space environments.

The Third International Symposium NES-2013 will be held August 6-8, 2013 in Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan. The Symposium will be locally organized by the Institute of Physics and Technology, one of the leading Kazakhstan research institutes in the field of materials science, and will be co-hosted by the Institute of Semiconductor Physics, the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISP SB RAS), and the Center for Advanced Materials (CAM) at the University of Houston. This NES-2013 Symposium is intended to be an open discussion, highly interactive meeting with Plenary Lectures supported by Contributed Presentations.
